Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac

Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac

VISUAL: Very dark golden yellow, fiery red, mahogany

FIRST NOSE: Narcissus, Jasmine, very old tawny port, cigar box, curry, saffron, nutmeg, passion fruit

SECOND NOSE: Violet, iris, litchi, pineapple, eucalyptus, sandalwood

FIRST PALATE: Very concentrated, rich aromas, warm, harmonious

SECOND PALATE: Extremely high level of complexity including aromas from first and second nose

FINISH: 1 hour of complex aromas and flavours.  After an hour of heavenly, harmonious climax, you are now ready for your next sip.

The Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac is blended from more than 1,200 eau de vie from Grande Champange each aged between 65 years to more than 100 years.  A display of finesse in the master blender's skills.  The eau de vie reserved for the blending of the Remy Martin Louis XIII are kept in a separate cellar, apart from others, in "tiercons" barrels that are several hundred years old.

The peak of rancio perfection is exemplified in this supposedly elixir of the gods that somehow landed onto the mortal realm.

Multi-layered yet harmonious, extremely refined yet mystifying, almost infinitely long on the finish yet sets one on an eternal thirst for more, the Remy Martin Louis XIII distinctively defines celestial elixir from ordinary mortal cognac.
